Meet Donna duPont and Maggie Swanson!
Our names are Donna duPont and Maggie Swanson and besides being two dedicated mothers and cousins, we are also best friends who share a common passion: jewelry making. We have been doing this since 2016. Day after day, we are trying to focus our intentions on the beautiful things in life and to bring joy to everyone who is willing to receive it.
We believe that the greatest form of beauty can be found in the smallest of details and therefore, we decided to put together our creative minds and create pieces of jewelry that are not only pretty and versatile but also tell a story. Deo duPont came to be after numerous walks, coffees, and talks between two best friends with a common passion.
The Sources of Our Inspiration
Both of us have a little bit of entrepreneurship experience which helped us throughout this journey of spreading love through our craft. With Deo duPont, we wanted to be able to sell handmade jewelry that encapsulated our love for beauty. Moreover, we looked at our creation as a means of spreading our love for travel, animals, the ocean, and last but not least, our families. We believe that being able to share these feelings with as many people as possible and doing it through what we love most is truly a blessing.

Hearing from our customers and witnessing the joy that our jewelry brought to them is the best part of what we are doing. If only wearing a necklace of ours has made any of you even a little bit happier than before, it means that we have accomplished our goal. Putting smiles on people’s faces is what drives us to go forward and develop our craft even more. When it comes to the designing process for Deo DuPont, we like to say that our jewelry completely reflects our way of living. This means that by wearing our pieces you will also feel joy even from the smallest of everyday things and with intention. We use medals, gems, and saints which we strongly believe can heal anyone wearing them.
Another extremely important detail regarding the Deo duPont jewelry is that we use timeless elements that will never go out of style. Besides that, our medals, saints, earrings, necklaces, and beaded bracelets are filled with 14K gold. This means that you can wear them without worrying that tarnish will destroy them. This is the essence of being carefree and focusing on enjoying the good things in life. Besides that, our very special method of blessing each jewelry piece will put a big smile on your face the moment you put it on.

Now that we are friends and all of you know the story and philosophy of Deo duPont, it’s time to talk a bit about how we like to help others and spread the love. We are incredibly proud and honored to have supported a large number of causes at the Boca Grande Health Clinic, St. Mary’s School, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, St. Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco, Friends of Youth Services, and, last but not least, Operation Homefront. We promise to not stop here and continue giving aid to those who need it the most. We believe that if we can make people smile a bit more through our creations, we should consider ourselves extremely lucky and blessed.
